CLIFTON COLLEGE BOYS - RUGBY COURSE FOR 10 - 16 YEAR OLDS
SUNDAY 8TH TO FRIDAY 13TH AUGUST 2010
Clifton College rugby has gone from strength to strength over recent years and it is now recognised as one of the strongest rugby playing schools in the South West. This residential / non-residential course will give you the opportunity to live like a professional player for a week and give yourself the ideal preparation for the 2010 -11 season.
The course will be delivered by a team of fully qualified Rugby coaches to a high standard. Also during this course, availability permitting, there will be a visit from a current International player, who will lead a coaching session and conduct a 'Question and Answer' session. In 2009 we were honored to receive a visit from Bath & England hooker, Lee Mears.
The carefully prepared programme will focus on:
- Individual skills
- Team play
- Tactical understanding
- Advice on rugby fitness, psychology and nutrition
At Clifton College, we recognise as a priority our responsibility to ensure the safety and well being of all participants on this course. There will be a designated medical professional on hand at all times with responsibility for first aid and dealing with any injuries that may occur.
Players will also have the opportunity to relax in the wonderful surroundings of Clifton College and enjoy all the facilities the school has on offer, including a swimming pool, fully-equipped gym facility, and cyber café.
